What are macromolecules
Macromolecules are large amounts of molecules that are formed by the polymerization reaction. It is also possible to manufacture polymer chains emitted from the polymer material.
These polymorphic materials are called monomers. Our body is made up of these macromolecules.
When many polymers are added, macromolecules are formed. This process is called dehydration synthesis. One leaves one monomer hydroxyl (OH) ion group and the second leaves the monomer-H ion.
Then the polymer is broken down by a process called hydrolysis. Bond between monomer is broken by water (H2O).
